Ingredients

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400° F.
Lightly toast the slices of bread in the toaster.
Peel and crush the garlic clove or cut it into small cubes.
Arrange the slices of bread in a large baking dish. Drizzle them with the wine, add the garlic on the slices.
Arrange the cheese on the bread and bake for 5 to 10 minutes. When the cheese is melted, it's ready! Pepper once on the plate.
Variation: add a cooked egg to the pan on top.
Another variation: add raw ham, peeled tomatoes.
Serve with pickles, onions, and a slice of ham for example.
