  • 1 tbs of butter
  • 200 g of sliced, seeded tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • a few sprigs of basil, leaves shredded
cheese omelette:
  • 8 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 30 g of butter
  • 120 g of grated, spicy Tilsiter

Preparation

  1. 1 Melt the butter in the pan. Add the tomato slices, briefly sauté and season with salt and pepper. Mix in the basil and keep warm.
  2. 2 Whisk the eggs with the salt and pepper for the omelette. Melt the butter in a non-stick pan. Add the egg mix and keep stirring on a low heat until the egg mix begins to thicken.
  3. 3 Sprinkle on the cheese. Let the omelette slide to one side of the pan and then fold over.
  4. 4 Serve the omelette on a warmed plate and spread the tomatoes on top.
Preparation hint

Instead of making one large omelette, make four small ones as in the picture. Keep the omelette warm in the oven, preheated to 50°C.
