  • cooking butter
  • 8 large slices of bread
  • 50 mL of white wine
  • 500 g of grated Gruyère
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 mL of cream
  • 100 mL of white wine
  • salt and pepper

  1. 1 Heat up the cooking butter in the frying pan and fry the slices of bread.
  2. 2 Dribble some white wine on to the slices of bread and lay them on baking paper in the baking tin.
  3. 3 Stir together all the ingredients for the cheese mix and spread it on the slices of bread. Gratinate for approx. 10 mins. on the lowest shelf of the oven, preheated to 250°C.
