Noodles with a ham and cheese sauce

  • 150 g of frozen peas
  • butter for sautéing
  • 200 mL of stock
  • 180 mL of single cream
  • 100 g of grated Gruyère AOC
  • 150 g of sliced ham, cut into small pieces
  • ½ a tsp of salt
  • a little pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 300-400 g of pasta such as wide noodles
  • chopped, flat-leafed parsley for garnish

  1. 1 Sauté the peas in butter, deglaze with the stock and single cream and then bring to the boil.
  2. 2 Add in the cheese, stirring as it melts. Allow to simmer until the desired consistency is reached. Add the ham and season.
  3. 3 Cook the pasta until al dente in a large quantity of water, then drain.
  4. 4 Toss the noodles in the sauce, garnish and serve.
