Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP Berg

The clean mountain air and the floral fragrances of the high altitude pastures can be found in the milk, giving the Berg (‘Mountain’) variety its rich, characteristic aromas. It is floral and full-bodied when young, but after a few months’ maturation, it develops a creamy, tangy richness. An ideal dessert cheese, it tastes fabulous with slices of apple, sweet chestnuts or nuts.
