Tomatoes in a herb crust with Le Gruyère AOP Réserve

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 handful flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 50g Le Gruyère AOP Réserve, grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 4 plum tomatoes

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 225°C.
  2. Cut the tomatoes lengthwise and place in an oven dish.
  3. Roast in the oven for 10 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine the garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, 2/3 of the cheese and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Take the tomatoes from the oven and add a spoonful of the herb mixture on top of each tomato. Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
